Description

Retinol, released slowly through the night

A night cream built on pure retinol and ultra-fine 7-layer liposome technology. Retinol is one of the most studied ingredients in skincare, a form of vitamin A that supports the look of firmer, smoother skin over time.

Some people get temporary redness or flaking with retinol, often called the adjustment period or retinization. It happens when skin meets a sudden change. This formula is built for stability, which makes that reaction less likely, and it resists oxidation in air, so it suits sensitive skin and anyone who has been hesitant about retinol.

The detail that matters is our ultra-micro 10nm liposomes, around 10 times smaller than conventional ones. A pore is roughly 300-400nm and standard liposomes about 100nm, so a 10nm structure travels more evenly and efficiently into the surface.

Those liposomes are wrapped in 7 layers that release their contents gradually, like peeling an onion, so retinol is delivered gently and steadily while irritation stays low.

Alongside retinol, the formula carries niacinamide and our peptide complex. Skin is at its most receptive overnight, so the cream hydrates deeply and supports a firmer, clearer, more radiant-looking surface by morning.

One note: like all retinol, this is not recommended during pregnancy or while breastfeeding. If that applies to you, our Bakuchiol Day Cream is the gentler daytime alternative.

How to Use

Evening use only. Do not use in the morning.

Not recommended during pregnancy or while breastfeeding. For a gentler option, see our Bakuchiol Day Cream.

1. After cleansing (ideally after a warm bath or shower when pores are open), apply lotion and essence

2. Using the spatula, take a small pearl-sized amount

3. Gently apply to face and neck, focusing on areas with wrinkles

4. Avoid the direct eye area if you experience sensitivity

For beginners or sensitive skin:

- Start 2x per week for the first two weeks

- Gradually increase to every other night

- After one month, you can use it nightly if tolerated

For 24-hour care, use Day Cream (Bakuchiol) in the morning and Night Cream (Retinol) at night. Bakuchiol by day and retinol by night lets you get the most from retinol while keeping skin calm.

Night Cream targets the look of wrinkles, dark spots, congested pores, uneven texture and loss of firmness.

Note: if you experience redness or flaking, reduce frequency. This formula is designed to minimize the adjustment reaction, but individual sensitivity varies.
